With a background in photojournalism I offer a storytelling approach to wedding photography with nothing posed or prompted, instead I blend in as a wedding guest and capture the real moments and emotions from your wedding in beautiful images. I'm available for weddings anywhere in the UK - I've also travelled as far as Venice, Menorca, France and Ireland for weddings.

I photographed my first same sex wedding (civil partnership) 14 years ago, Lord Snowdon was a good friend of the couple and had taken their engagement portrait which was on display at the wedding, Lord Snowdon was a guest at the wedding so their was absolutely no pressure on me as the wedding photographer! Back then same sex couples opted for a civil partnership as the law didn't allow for marriages. The first same sex wedding took place as recently as 2014 and it was just after then I started getting a lot of demand for photographing gay and lesbian weddings.
I photograph weddings in a photojournalism style, nothing is posed or prompted and I capture the real events of the wedding day as they happen. I was one of the first UK wedding photographers to develop this style and have gone on to photograph over 1000 weddings all over the UK as well as in Venice, Ireland, France and Menorca, The essence of what I do is best described as story telling photography.
