Kasia & Arron’s micro wedding in Nottingham
Micro weddings have been very popular during the covid restrictions with strict limits on the number of wedding guests. Shortly after weddings were back on in summer 2021 I photographed Kasia and Arron’s micro wedding with just 6 guests in Nottingham. I really enjoy these small intimate weddings and have had everything from a couple of guests up to 25 guests, photography tends to be more focused on the couple but it is still possible to keep a storytelling documentary approach. My coverage started with Kasia getting ready at the Hilton Hotel in Nottingham before a short walk to the Council House.
I am currently offering four hours coverage for micro weddings which is enough time to capture getting ready, ceremony and a couple of hours afterwards. My fee for micro weddings is £800.
Nottingham Council House wedding photography
Nottingham town hall is known as the council house, it is an impressive building on the Old Market Square in Nottingham. The wedding ceremony took place in the Sheriff’s room which can accommodate weddings of up to 16 people and is ideal for micro weddings.
After the ceremony at The Council House Kasia and Arron walked through the streets of Nottingham passing by Nottingham Castle on the way to a small reception, after outdoor drinks canapés and Arron’s speech they wedding party headed indoors for dinner which marked the end of my four hours coverage.
