Norwood Park wedding photography for Laura and Oliver
I’d last photographed a wedding at Norwood Park around 7 years ago and was delighted when Oliver and Laura asked me to be their wedding photographer. My coverage started at Laura’s parent’s house in Ruddington, Nottingham, where Laura had her hair styled and make up applied. Oliver met the ushers at a nearby pub before walking to St Peter’s Church in Ruddington for the ceremony. After the ceremony Oliver’s friends from his Navy days set up a guard of honour for the couple.
The wedding party and guests made their way to Norwood Park for the reception, this is a really lovely venue a short distance from Southwell with views across open countryside, a lake and orchards. The house dates back to 1764 and is still the Starkey family home, weddings have taken place here since 1998. The weather was by now a little mixed with sunshine mixed in with heavy rain showers, as is often typical at weddings the sun came out just as the guests sat down for dinner.
