Blake Hall wedding photography – Lauren and Matt
I was delighted when Lauren and Matt booked me for their Blake Hall wedding photography in Essex, a venue I always enjoy working at. Set in the grounds of Blake Hall the restored 17th century barn is a popular wedding venue within easy reach of the M11. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and many of these take place outdoors during the summer, Lauren and Matt’s ceremony was at All Saints Church in Woodford Green, London after which they had their wedding reception at Blake Hall.
I started my Blake Hall wedding photography with Lauren having her hair styled and make up applied while Matthew met his ushers and best men in a pub close to the church. Lauren’s beautiful dress was a Mori Lee designed by Madeline Gardner. Matthew brought tears to the bridesmaids eyes as Lauren read the letter he had sent her and opened his present.
Lauren had attended All Saints church since she was a child and so the church was her first choice for the wedding, she then searched around for a nearby venue for the wedding reception and fell in love with Blake Hall.
After the ceremony the wedding guests boarded two Route master buses for the half hour trip back to Blake Hall, they then enjoyed a champagne reception before the wedding breakfast and speeches. After dinner Lauren and Matthew watched the sun setting over the surrounding countryside before their amazing choreographed first dance. Below is a small sample of my Blake Hall wedding photography, please get in touch if you’d like to see more of my work from this venue.
