I was very lucky to have a wedding right on my doorstep on Sunday 28th August 2011. Kate and Laurie’s wedding was at Harrowden Hall (venue Link) in Wellingborough, just 7 or 8 miles from my base in Higham Ferrers. I hadn’t been to Harrowden Hall for a few years and had forgotten what a great wedding venue it is, beautifully decorated and with stunning gardens.
Kate and Laurie got ready in houses next door to each other in Wellingborough, this made it easy for me to catch them both getting ready. While Kate was getting dressed Laurie was next door practicing his juggling, having got dressed very early. It was then off to Harrowden Hall for the ceremony and reception.
