Fawsley Hall is almost my second home as I photograph a lot of weddings there every year, I did a quick count up recently and worked out I have photographed over 50 weddings at Fawsley over the past ten years. This was my second visit this year and I’m back again in three weeks time. This was the first time I have photographed a wedding in St Mary’s church at Fawsley as in the past weddings have been very limited in the church. St Mary’s stands on its own not far from Fawsley Hall, there was once a village but now there are only sheep. Driving back from the wedding at night I had to stop my car and gently persuade some of the sheep that sleeping on the road isn’t a good idea.
I arrived in time to photograph Emma’s preparations in a beautiful room at Fawsley Hall before making my way up to the church for the ceremony. Afterwards guests walked the short distance back to Fawsley Hall for the reception in Knightley Court.
I hope you enjoy these photographs from Emma and Andrew’s wedding at Fawsley Hall.
