Alice and Mark’s wedding photography at Eastington Park.
April has been a very busy month for weddings and has seen me travelling all over the country. A couple of weeks back I was the wedding photographer at Eastington Park for Alice and Mark. It doesn’t seem that long since I did their engagement photography here in Higham Ferrers.
An early start at Eastington Park meant driving down the night before and stopping over nearby so I could photograph Alice having her hair styled at 9,30am. I thern caught up with Mark and the ushers in the bar at Eastington park before photographing Alice getting into her dress and heading down the famous staircase which I’m sure features in a lot of wedding albums. The wedding car was an old Rover which had belonged to Mark’s father and has been kept in immaculate condition.
Next it was off to St Michael and All Angel’s church, which was a pretty as it sounds. I am always slightly nervous when the vicar greets me at the church gate and asks if he can have a word, however in this case it was to tell me I could take as many photographs as I wanted and to show me a good position at the front of the church, fantastic!
After the ceremony guests walked the couple of minutes back to Eastington Park and Alice and Mark went for a few minutes together in the Rover. Back at Eastington Mark’s niece and nephew seemed to be enjoying the swing hanging from a tree in the garden. Alice and Mark rejoined the guests who were making the most of the weather in the beautiful grounds at Eastington. All too soon it was time for the speeches and then the first dance.
