Debbie & Matt’s wedding at Cowdray Walled Garden on September 28th 2012.
As with many of my weddings Debbie and Matt found me through a recommendation, in this case it was Debbie’s sister whose wedding I photographed around four years ago. It was lovely to meet up with her family again. My coverage started with Debbie’s preparations before the ceremony at St Mary Magdelene and St Deny’s Parish Church in Midhurst. The weather was a little wet at times but Debbie timed her arrival at the church with a break between the rain showers.
The reception was at Cowdray Walled Gardens, a beautiful garden hidden behind a high wall next to Cowdray ruins. The gardens had been an overgrown mass of brambles until restoration started in 2004. I was on a shorter coverage this week with 6 hours in total so my coverage ended after Matt’s speech.
