Here is another absolutely gorgeous wedding I am delighted to share with you, Lauren and Nick’s summer wedding held at the stunning Chiswick House and Rick Stein’s restaurant.
As always these are just a small sample of the 400+ images from a full day wedding.
Usually my initial contact with wedding enquiries is from the bride and groom, but in Lauren and Nick’s case it was Lauren’s father who contacted me due to his interest in photography. His collection of prints by many of the masters of photography means he certainly knows what a good image looks like. Therefore I was actually a little nervous about photographing this wedding knowing that some of my work would be displayed alongside the gods of photography.
My coverage started with Lauren getting ready at her family home, before she was driven by her father to Chiswick House in a beautiful Austin Healey 3000 MKII.
Chiswick House Conservatory wedding ceremony
Chiswick House is a stunning 18th-century Palladian villa located in West London, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. It is a popular wedding venue for couples looking for a picturesque location with a touch of historical elegance.
Chiswick House offers various indoor and outdoor spaces to host wedding ceremonies and receptions. The conservatory is a popular spot for wedding ceremonies, offering a bright and airy space with stunning views of the gardens. The venue’s outdoor space features a large terrace, which can be used for post-ceremony drinks and canapes. The terrace overlooks the beautiful Italian Garden and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Overall, the Conservatory at Chiswick House is a unique and romantic wedding venue that offers a beautiful setting for a memorable wedding day. With its stunning location and elegant décor, it is the perfect choice for couples looking for an intimate and sophisticated wedding celebration.
Rick Stein’s restaurant wedding reception
After the ceremony the couple and their guests made their way to Barnes to Rick Stein’s restaurant for their wedding reception. The converted Stables and Coachhouse, on the banks of the Thames, has an enviable view of the river. Rick Stein’s is ideal for a smaller reception and has a great outdoor area, which was perfect for the drinks reception.
