On the 12th August I was back at one of my favourite London locations to photograph Bhabita and Nadeem’s wedding at Cambridge Cottage, Kew Gardens.
My coverage started with the guests arriving at Cambridge Cottage before the wedding ceremony, weddings here always have a relaxed feel in part due to the photographer friendly registrars. It’s actually one of the few locations in England where they don’t come up with a reason why I can’t photograph the signing of the register, and believe me some registrars have come up with some very strange reasons included my all time favourite of I can’t photograph it because they use special ink. In fact only the marriage register itself is covered by data protection and the entires can’t be photographed, good luck to anyone trying to read the entires from a photograph taken from several feet away.
Family had travelled from India for the wedding and they all seemed to enjoy Kew gardens.
After the ceremony guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the colourful gardens of Cambridge Cottage along with a selection of India food. Dinner and speeches followed, after which the guests boarded the Kew Explorer for a guided tour of the gardens.
These are a few of my favourites from Bhabita and Nadeem’s wedding photography at Cambridge Cottage.
